Bathroom etiquette: urination & PD tremor

Okay, I hope this one is not too private, but I must share because it was one of my biggest issues with Parkinson’s disease. There are only two smells in the world I can’t stand: gasoline and urine. This brings me to the topic of this post, it is urination and tremors.
This is a male issue. I don’t think females with Parkinson’s have the same issue. Even without Parkinson’s disease, some men miss the center of the toilet with their aim. But add a bad tremor to this and it really becomes a problem. The urine will stain rugs and tile and the smell will stick around forever.
As I shared my issues with the smell of urine, thank God my husband agreed to using a urinal. You can get these anywhere.
This one is from Amazon:
My husband uses the urinal, empties it, rinses it out and then sprays it with a disinfectant spray I make. I will share the recipe of this below.
You can use this disinfectant spray for just about anything else but it mostly sits in our bathroom for the purpose of disinfecting the urinal.
Essential Oil Disinfecting Cleaning Spray (I usually make a double batch in a 32 oz bottle)
1) Fill a 16 oz glass spray bottle most of the way full with alcohol that is 140 proof or greater (70%+ alcohol)
2) Add ½ teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide
3) Add the following essential oils: --30 drops of tea tree essential oil --15 drops lemon essential oil --15 drops of lavender essential oil --15 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
4) Put on spray top and shake to mix
5) Add a label
